Tomorrowland: A Place to Unite

Located near the Adrienne Arsht Center of the Performing Arts, Tomorrowland is known for its gourmet fare, cheerful atmosphere and ongoing happy hour. But it hasn’t always been this way.

Up until a few years ago, the historic building sat abandoned and deteriorating. Despite cameos in The Fast and the Furious and Rock of Ages, the former Standard Oil gas station seemed to have outlived its use.

But through support from the community and Omni CRA, Tomorrowland has been restored and reactivated, delivering on its promise as “a place where we unite.”  Describing the meaning behind the phrase, Tomorrowland’s co-founder/owner Jessica Victor says it’s about working together in unity toward what tomorrow may bring.

With Firehouse 2 and the Citizens Bank of Miami building, Tomorrowland is an oasis for the community, and a connector between surrounding neighborhoods, arts and cultural centers and businesses.
